participate in Calgary's monthly Critical Mass ride, Sep. 28

On the last Friday of every month, cyclists around the world gather to ride the streets together to assert the rights of non-automotive traffic to use the streets.

The ride gathers in Calgary at the Eau Claire plaza starting at 5:30. We usually head out closer to 6 for a ride that usually goes for half an hour to an hour. The route of the ride can be different every month, usually just made up along the way.

Newcomers are always welcome.

Please bring noisemakers - whistles, bells, etc.

Look for folks just hanging out with their bicycle in the plaza when you arrive. Please don't hesitate to ask someone: "hey, are you here for critical mass?"
