Parental Bootcamp - Block Party August 19, 2009

Detroit, MI, August 19-22, 2009 – The Dunamis Outreach Ministries is set to host its much anticipated, fourth annual Parental Boot-Camp and Block Party. Dynamic speakers Reginald M. Lane and David Mahan will present this year’s theme of “Raising a Righteous Generation: Taking Aim at Tomorrow” on Wednesday and Thursday at 7pm at the Dunamis Outreach Ministries. Parents and children alike will be encouraged, empowered, and strengthened. Join us as we launch the second year of our Literacy Initiative and Enrichment Adventures Program.

The Block Party will kick off Friday evening at 7pm and Saturday afternoon at 12pm with food and games for all to enjoy. There will also be a school supply giveaway during the Block Party on Saturday to the first 300 youth in attendance. Special musical guests including Jerald Daemyon, Pam English, and Urban Organic will light up the stage. All are welcomed to this free concert that is sure to be a night full of high energy and great entertainment.
