Parallel Visions September 24, 2011

Parallel Visions is a screening of Canadian and Mexican videoworks curated by Erandy Vergara and Ima Picó. The program was curated during Ima Pico and Erandy Vergara research residency at Studio XX, a bilingual feminist digital art centre for technological exploration, creation and critique founded in Montreal in 1996. The research residency included the collaboration of Groupe Intervention Video, an artist-run, non profit centre founded in 1975 that acquires, distributes, exhibits and produces independent videos directed by women.

We’ll be complementing the films with some ‘Mexicanadian’ food from South American chef Xavi.
