Toronto’s Panzerfaust serves up its own brand of “militarized pagan black metal” on the same bill as Swedish black metal band Marduk, Aura Noir, Black Anvil, HOD, and Natur. Panzerfaust’s chaotic sound goes to a spiral of extremes, combining atmosphere and ambience with a kind of mythic metal misanthropy.
