Designing Games & Simulations for Learning
Need to help your staff, students or the world learn? Attend this session to learn how to incorporate games and simulations into your e-learning strategy? You’ll get an introduction to games and simulations, an understanding of what works and what doesn’t and we’ll look at several implementations using off-the shelf products. We’ll share the latest trends and breakthroughs for using games in learning as well as discuss and demonstrate some great examples. We’ll also discuss what you will need to know to start building your own games and simulations for optimal learning in your class or company.
Screencasts 101 (New Bonus) Mini-Session
We'll also look at the latest tools and techniques for creating Screencasts. What is a ScreenCast? These are movies that you can add to your website to introduce yourself, offer help on using your site, or demonstrate a product. We'll review several tools including JingProject, ScreenReady, Camtasia and Captivate.
