Pan American Symphony Orchestra - Concierto Andalouse and Gala Flamenca March 12, 2011

Joining PASO for a riveting performance of Spanish and Arabic music is the Middle East's most famous oud (Arabic lute) player, folk singer, and classical composer, Marcel Khalife. 'Suite Andalouse,' Khalife's own composition that blends traditional Arabic musical traditions with Spanish flamenco elements, moves the listener with its intense and poetic beauty. Bachar Khalife joins him on percussion. Special guests from Spain are flamenco dancers Carmela Greco, Maria Juncal, La Truco, and Pepa Molina.
