Pacific Place, 88 Queensway
Hong Kong SAR, null

Hosts: Americans for Tax Reform, International Policy Network, Lion Rock Institute, and the Property Rights Alliance. Join with fellow market-oriented policy advocates in Hong Kong for the 2008 Pacific Rim Policy Exchange Conference. The goal of this networking conference is to provide a unique, centralized, high-quality forum for the open exchange of free-market ideas between policy advocates on both sides of the Pacific Ocean.
The lectures, brainstorming sessions and networking opportunities will cover a wide range of topics from tax reform to property rights. The geographic diversity of the participants complements the dynamic Hong Kong setting by allowing for the broad exploration of free-market alternatives. We hope to accelerate the development of a regular idea exchange and foster greater interaction between Eastern and Western policy advocates. With the growing influence of countries like Japan, China, Korea and Taiwan on the global economy and world affairs, the Pac-Rim Policy Exchange aims to cultivate stronger ties between groups working to advance market-oriented ideas
