Pacific Northwest MkIV & MkV R32 meet February 23, 2008

Northwest MkIV & MkV R32 enthusiasts meetup. We'll meet / start on the D Level (top level) of the U-Village parking garage. Group drive to grab some food (Ideas for food are welcome.) Meet other MkIV / MkV R32 drivers & fans. This is one jaw dropping meet you won't want to miss.
Time has been bumped up. We'll roll down to another VW / Audi meet as a group. Let me know if the time conflicts.

this is gonna sound really lame....but i think Dick's on 45th would be a good place to eat....easy to park and we can chill while eating cheap burgers haha...just a thought

xophear, try and get them counted in on the invite. Gives us a better idea of the number of cars we should be expecting.
Kirk, Phil thought of Dicks also. Might work but could be hard to park together if it's as busy as it usually is. Would be a short drive from U-Village though. Might be nice to let our cars breath a little.

Ive always been a fan of going to XXX in Issaquah. Red Robin out in the Overlake area is good because you can park all together on the North side of Sears because noone really parks over there. Thats just a straight shot across 520 so its easy for everyone to get to and I dont think theres a single person in this world who cant find something good to eat at RR.
Glad that youre setting up a meet and using U-Village. Its a great place to meet huh?

Looks like there are no planned meets on that weekend. Might be worth checking out. And I remember your car, VERY clean. Sometimes wish that the R32 was available in black stateside.

I'm requesting it off as soon as I'm done getting the bunny chipped tomorrow. I'll be the guy in the rabbit 2.5 thats equally as fast as the stock MKV GTIs and R32s

ok I think we'll have a mixed group roll over... if we are headed down to t-town we'll prolly end up meeting you there since we are rollign over from Bremerton.
so far i think we got 3 MKIV R's, a MKV R, some GTIs and Audis, as it gets closer I'll have a better idea but we're trying to get the whole group to come along.

Nice. Depending on how much time we are at U-Village and traffic, we'll probably be down in Tacoma around 3pm-ish. Try and get a confirmed head count though because the Griot's meet wants me to check-in with how many dubs are rolling through.

I have another committment that I HAVE to go to in Seattle at 4 o'clock so I probably won't be able to make it to Tacoma and come back on time. Therefore, I'll just meet up with you all at u-village, drive down to I-5 for a bit then turn around at alki or boeing.

Smash got up and running! Not too many pics were taken at the meet (what was taken is tagged and should show on this page). We did get some great footage of Smash rolling on some streets / highways. It's in editing and will be linked ASAP.
