Pacific Coast Fog Fest September 27, 2008

The Fog Fest is a two-day Music and Arts & Crafts Festival, with over 190 arts and crafts booths, 3 stages of live entertainment, and plenty of tasty food and drink to please any appetite. The Fog Fest was created in 1986 to promote Pacifica and to celebrate our marvelous coastal climate. The last full weekend of September was chosen because historically the weather is unbeatable. We kick off the event on Saturday morning at 10 am with the Pacifica Parade and Marching Band Competition. Sunday afternoon the Family Fun Fest will again feature games, contests, crafts, face painting, and junk car decorating. Throughout the weekend, world champion sand sculptors from Sandscapes will be designing an amazing sand sculpture from 25 tons of sand. The Fog Fest has joined other festivals around the country in its commitment to lessen its environmental footprint.
