Queen of electronic soul Billie Ray Martin takes to the decks as part of the Oxjam Music Festival this October the 11th at the iconic music venue The Hope & Anchor in London’s trendy Islington.

Joining her on the night will be eccentric disco predator Waterson, nu-electro cowboys Cavalier, electro-rock outfit The Sharmills and exquisite visuals from multi-media artist Mikhail Karakis.

The crew are passionate about raising money to help end poverty and can’t think of a better way to do it than the opportunity to support Oxfam in this innovative approach to music scheduling.

Half of the proceeds form the cover charge will go directly to Oxfam as well as a collection on the night and an opportunity to but the artists CD’s for £10 with, once again half of the proceeds from sales benefiting the cause.

Waterson is giving interviews on various radio shows to help promote the festival including Pulse Rated’s very own dedicated Oxjam programme as well as his popular song ‘Sun Is Shining’ being included in the official Oxjam 2006 compilation CD.
