Oxford Bach Choir - Dvorak and Janacek June 19, 2004

For its summer concert, the Choir provides an evening of music by two much-loved Czech masters. Dvorak?s direct and sincere Mass in D is contrasted with Janacek?s typically dramatic settings of the Lord?s Prayer ? originally sung to accompany a series of tableaux vivants - and the "Ave Maria".
