1001 G ST NW
Washington, District of Columbia 20001

This is a monthly meeting of the DC chapter of OWASP (the Open Web Application Security Project), which is designed to be a forum for local web professionals to come together and discuss Web Application Security in an open and collaborative environment.

This month's Agenda:

* Adam Vincent of Layer Seven Technologies will be presenting on Hacking and Hardening Web Services. He has presented previously to OWASP NoVa, and this is a great opportunity for DC folks who can't make it out to those meetings to catch his presentation, which covers some of the new challenges presented when using Web Services.

* Doug Wilson will be reporting back from his trip to AppSec 2008 in New York last month. He will discuss some of the trends that have come out of that conference, and shed some light on changes that OWASP is trying to bring about in the new year.

Directions to get into the meeting:

Upon arrival, please go to the 9th floor and sign in, and you will be escorted to the meeting space. The meeting will be held in room 8S026. Contact Mike Smith, 202.270.8715, if you need access to the facility and can't find anyone.

Refreshments will be provided.
