It's too bad this is right before BM. The weekend before/after (at the very least) would have been a much better choice. Still...I hope I can swing it...

chrisrosa

The lineup (and the whole site for that matter) has been updated.

With the new lineup this just keeps getting better and better.

Just the thought of having Cafe Tacuba and the Cool Kids and Regina Spektor on the same bill blows my mind.

Tickets for the entire 3-day festival just went on sale on Radiohead's website. $233.25 for the whole 3-day shebang.

http://tickets.waste.uk.com/Store/DisplayIndividualItem.html?ID=1219

The 3-day tickets will formally available via the Outside Lands festival website on March 30. Single-day tickets will probably be available later on.

Does anyone know where the waste.uk tickets will be coming from, and when they will be mailed? One might as well wait till Sunday, since there's no way it'll sell out. I mean, especially if they're expecting 45,000 people.

retrogradeheart

Visa pre-sale on now, $273 with ticketmaster fees and mandatory shipping.

Oh! it isn't as good as my hometown. When you visit it, you can feel the special emotion as me. So simple and so wonderful.

Single-day tickets are going on sale this week. http://www.sfoutsidelands.com/tickets/

Since Radiohead & Beck are both playing Friday night, I think I'll just go that day.

:Dave

the single day tickets are well worth it, for about 100$ a pop.

Gonna bring my Djembe and enjoy the grooves! Bring lots of munchies and fluids as they will be charging a good sum for these things there! Also you will have to hit the bushes to enjoy your smoking as there will be" no smoking" signs and lots of "yuppies" so enjoy yourself and watch out for "50"

Any way to buy tickets directly for those who prefer not to give business to ticketmaster?

SquidInk

Let's turn it into Woodstock!

ticketsconcern

Has anyone got their tickets delivered yet? The website says they will be mailed out "after" august 1st. I just hope its before the festival starts!!

samlind

I bought a ticket through Ticketmaster, had it delivered via standard mail, and received it at least 6 weeks ago.

A friend of mine reserved his ticket through Radiohead's site, http://www.waste.uk.com/ , and still hasn't received it yet.

I guess different vendors are on different delivery schedules....

contact [email protected] and cc: [email protected] and ask them what the hell is the hold up.

I ordered a 3-day pass and was forced into FedEx and it arrived this week.

dustindiaz

This is rad. Radiohead, Beck, Tom Petty. This will be great.

jobeezy

I'm thinking about going on Friday and coughing up my gas/groceries money IF...there are other people flying solo and willing to meet up and watch the show. Otherwise..you'll probably find me listening to Radiohead outside the gates (if possible).

azriel

I just moved to SF and I feel like this festival fell into my lap! I am definitely going Friday, despite not having someone to go with. This show is too good to pass up. Hope to meet some radical peeps while I'm there!

chrisrosa

Wow...I hope they sort out the audio problems. There were many. Radiohead did their best to deal with it.

Plan on a 30-45 minute wait for an ID check, unless they open more booths.

Exiting after the show was probably the craziest and most dangerous mass exoduses I've ever seen. The routing design they used only accounts for people arriving, not all departing at the same time.

Good luck!

retrogradeheart

There were no problems at any of the other shows I went to over the weekend, and most of the ID check booths seemed to not have long lines.

I had a great time although getting out Friday and Saturday was not nearly as smooth as it should have been.

some post-concert thoughts on parallelisms between radiohead and beck here: http://cineoctoboo.com/index.php/2008/08/25/a-creep-and-a-loser-parallels-between-radiohead-and-beck/
