CALLING ALL KIDS WHO ENJOY THE OUTDOORS – JOURNEY OVER TO CLEVELAND METROPARKS OUTDOOR ODYSSEY EVENT
Hey Kids and Families: So, you know how to navigate the technical world of Facebook, YouTube, and online games, but do you know how to have fun in the outdoors? Come to Outdoor Odyssey and explore nature and outdoor recreation.

Pick up a passport and go on a FREE adventure. Travel from station to station learning skills such as golf, fishing, and hiking. Learn how to fix a flat tire on a bicycle, cast a fishing rod, identify local game fish and how to be safe around water. Young people can explore nature through birding, pond life discoveries, crafts and astronomy, and meet live animals from Lake Erie Nature and Science Center. Collect stamps on your passport and redeem your passport at the end of your adventure for a prize.

In addition, kids can learn basic fishing skills such as casting, baiting a hook, fish identification and knot tying. Free live bait and loaner fishing equipment will be available while supplies last.

Discover the great outdoors at the Outdoor Odyssey event of Cleveland Metroparks – part of your life, naturally.
