BOSTON ROCKS THE OSCARS FEBRUARY 24
The Ellie Fund hosts the only Academy Awards party in Massachusetts officially sanctioned
by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences

The glitter and glamour of Hollywood comes to Boston on Sunday, February 24 for the sizzling Oscar Night® America celebration. Partygoers will have the opportunity to show off their black-tie finest on the red carpet while raising funds for a good cause. 100% of the proceeds raised by Oscar Night® America will benefit The Ellie Fund’s innovative Care for the Caregiver program which provides transportation to medical appointments, daycare, housekeeping, and meals free of charge for breast cancer patients and families across Massachusetts.

Beginning at 6:30 p.m., Hard Rock Café in Boston will host the 80th Annual Academy Awards® celebration sponsored by Subaru of New England, WCVB-TV5, 93.7 Mike FM, Panera Bread, Imagine magazine, Boston Event Guide, and the Langham Hotel, Boston. This is the 11th Anniversary of The Ellie Fund being chosen to host the Oscar Night® America party, the only Academy Awards® event in Massachusetts officially sanctioned by The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences.

This year’s celebration will be hosted by WCVB-TV5 reporters David Brown and Susan Wornick. The event features an exclusive VIP lounge with upscale menu by Green Olive Catering, Grey Goose martini and Samuel Adams’ reception with lavish hors d’oeuvres and decadent desserts, Island Creek Oyster Bar, live music by the Evan Goodrow Band, oversized video screens and state of the art sound for Academy Awards® Telecast viewing, official Academy Awards® programs straight from Hollywood, an auction with exclusive music and movie memorabilia, and fabulous gift bags. Celebrity guests scheduled to appear include Academy Award® winning writer, actor/director Ernest Thompson (On Golden Pond), and many more to be announced the week before the event.

General admission tickets are $150, VIP tickets are $250 and reserved VIP tables are $2,500 at www.elliefund.org (while they last).
