Orlando Job Fair and Employment Seminar January 20, 2010

The Orlando Employment Guide is kicking off 2010 with a bang in the local community. Committed to being hands on with both job seekers and local businesses, they have jumped the gun to put together an event that will make 2010 an amazing year of personal and professional growth.

The job fair comes on the heels of the Putting America Back to Work campaign of 2009, where the Employment Guide was able to put over 15,000 Americans into positions all around the country as a result of their job fairs.

The job fair, to be held on Wednesday, January 20th at the Plaza Theatre in Downtown Orlando will feature 30 local organizations, educational institutions, live presentations on social media and online job seeking as well as resources to help job seekers with their resumes and apply to jobs online.

Participants from our September event left the event confident and knowledgeable about their future stating, “The sessions were of particular benefit - particularly how to apply for a job on the internet,” and “the event initiated a new way of thinking about techniques of advertising oneself.”
