Operation Slumber October 23, 2010

You are invited to participate in a special Halloween 'Operation Slumber' aboard the Intrepid. Sleep aboard the "Ghost Ship" and experience what it was like to serve on this aircraft carrier. Tour the "Fright" Deck by flashlight, "chow down" in the Mess Deck and take a ride through space on the XD Theater. Bring your sleeping bag, pillow and flashlight. Cots, dinner, snack, breakfast and a goody bag for youth participants are provided! Halloween activities and surprises take place throughout the evening. Search for "treasure" during a Scavenger Hunt. Watch a movie, hear haunted tales of the Intrepid and more. Come "decked out" in your best Halloween costume. Prizes go to the best costume! This event is available for individual bookings (adult supervision required).
