Opera Vista: the Silent Prince October 15, 2010

'The Silent Prince' is a world-premiere 'Bollywood' opera with music and librettro by Thailand's leading operatic composer, Somtow Sucharitkul. It tells the story of Temiya Jataka, an incarnation of the Buddha, and uses both western and traditional Indian instruments as well as a live elephant on stage to contribute to an evening of both sophistication and spectacle.
