OpenStreetMap meet-up in Holborn August 31, 2010

Open to everyone whether you are already an active member of the openstreetmap community or just curious to find out more about the project. Have a go at mapping (e.g. with a pencil & a printout), or just come along and join us in the pub!

OpenStreetMap is a project to create a map released with an open content license. It's created by people like you. We need your help!

On the Evening of Wed 21st April we'll be heading to Holborn and aiming to gather gather some map information in the area. At around 8p.m. we'll meet up in The Penederel's Oak pub.

When you get there, look out for people with GPS units/maps, or funky white OSM baseball caps. Also make a note of this: Contact: Harry Wood O7979815O13

Before that though, we'll be arriving in the area at around 6:30 to do some mapping. If you're interested in joining in with that, check the website details.

We usually get about 10/15 people coming (more than signed up here)
