OpenStreetMap is an open-source, online map of the world that is both free and Free! (Think Wikipedia... but as a map!) We'll meet up for mapping parties; community events targeted at getting more of Boston mapped the way you want it mapped! You come along, we loan you a GPS unit and show you how to use it (it's easy!) and then you go out mapping an area of your choosing. You come back at the end of the day and we show you how to get that data into OpenStreetMap.

Feel free to come either Saturday or Sunday for any portion of the time between 11AM and 4PM. I'll be doing a presentation on OpenStreetMap on both days at about 11:30, but I'm happy to give it again if you show up later.
