Bruno David Gallery is pleased to present Laura Beard’s second solo exhibition entitled "Thick and Smooth" with the gallery. Laura Beard’s new paintings and drawings continue her exploration of the primary impulse of abstraction by focusing on the direction and texture of each brushstroke. By using this technique, the paintings take on a structured chaos that is both powerful and energetic.
