Opening: Kansas to Oz: Las Colcheras Quilt Guild March 2, 2007

For this years Presidents Challenge by past Las Colcheras Quilt Guild President, Loretta Vierck, is From Kansas to OZ. The quilt show will be on display in the Richardson Gallery at the Branigan Cultural Center, along with a traveling Hoffman Challenge Exhibit from February 23 thru March of 2007.

The show will be judged by J. Michelle Watts of Roswell, New Mexico. Michelle is a quilt book author, teacher, and a quilt and garment designer. (jmichellewatts.com)

Ribbons and prizes will be awarded at the Opening Celebration Friday, February 23, 2007 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Another opening will be on March 2, 2007, in coordination with the Friday Night Ramble held downtown from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
