Opening: For the Love of Art Month February 5, 2010

Las Cruces, NM – As part of the “For the Love of Art Month,” Branigan Cultural Center will host the 12th Annual ArtForms Membership Exhibit. The exhibit opens on Friday, February 5, 2010 with a reception from 5 to7 p.m. It remains on display through Saturday, February 27.

ArtForms is a non-profit organization that supports art in all its forms. More than 50 artists are participating in this year’s show. The show includes paintings, watercolors, prints, photography, sculpture, jewelry, digital media, and more.

In addition to the ArtForms Membership Show, Dr. Wayne Crawford will host “For the Love of Lit” at Branigan Cultural Center on Saturday, February 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will feature readings by area poets and writers.

The Branigan Cultural Center, 501 N. Main Street, is located at the north end of the downtown mall in Las Cruces. The exhibit and events are free and open to the public.
