1. Live Recording Session with Tylor Rauman of Telefauna and local rap artists Alter Reign, demostrating the power of Ardour, an open source multichannel digital audio workstation for Linux. Special thanks to Mathieu Johnson of Coop-Musique for offering up his Ardour skills for this workshop. [ 2-2:30pm ]

2. Intro to Print on Demand for CD's with guest speakers from Lulu.com who will talk a bit about the benefits of self-publishing which allows artists to create and sell finished works within minutes. [ 2:30-3pm ]

All this using free software: with live multi-track recording, editing and mastering on the fly, we?ll also intro the editing options and plugins available in a linux environment.

Then, Lulu.com will demonstrate print on demand for CD?s!! Lulu provides the quickest and most DIY publishing system there is, and leaves you holding all your rights.

No matter your computer expertise, this hour long workshop is for the indyish rock star in all of us.
