Open Mic with host Billy Schafer October 2, 2007

Maxfield's all-acoustic open mic started September 25, 2007.

This little cafe in the Mission has a fabulous location next to Delores Park and free wi-fi! The open mic here is called the Mission Bells open mic and aims to be a community resource with volunteer speakers on copyright, promotion and home recording (like the WCS, but less formal).

Each week a featured performer will act as co-host (they manage the sign-up list and in exchange get to play a 4-song set at the height of the show). The featured performer will be invited from the previous week's attendees.

Signup: 6.45pm First come, first served

Length: 7:00 to 9pm
