Shir Hadash is an evolving, vibrant, growing Reform Jewish congregation dedicated to providing a vital Jewish life, spiritual growth, and a sense of community for its members. At Shir Hadash we have hold a variety of services, each with their own style. Our members love to sing, and our services include music reflecting a wide range of composers and musical styles appropriate to each service.

As a Temple, our membership and our adult education programs reflect the rich diversity of our community. We have a very active Adult Education Program. We regularly hold classes in Hebrew, Introduction to Judaism, Torah Study, Adult Bar/Bat Mitzvah preparation, and Life cycle and Holiday celebrations. Throughout the year we also sponsor several lectures by visiting scholars.

Our Religious School is a cornerstone of our Temple life. We have classes for ages Pre-K through 6th grade , 7th-10th grade , as well as Hebrew classes and B'nai Mitzvah training. We encourage students to begin their religious training in Kindergarten and to start Hebrew classes in the 3rd grade in preparation for B'nai Mitzvah training later on. We have a family-oriented educational program with numerous opportunities for parents to participate .
