The OpenCoffee Club was started to encourage entrepreneurs, developers and investors to organise real-world informal meetups to chat, network and grow.

This is the online complement to that offline network. Meet people, find out what's going on nearby you and then go and take part.

Hello everyone,

At the next OpenCoffee on Tues, 15 July from 8.30 in Starbucks on Park St, in addition to the usual business networking, we'll have some folks from a new national research project that is looking at what happens when people and the power of the crowds come together with technology to address the transport challenges faced by individuals and society.

They're keen to meet with people who share an interest in this area, user innovators, or people who might do 'something different with something ordinary' when it comes to organising their own transport needs. Tilly and Juliet are also recruiting mobile professionals to take part in the research - may be you can help?

See you all next Tues,
