Open air Opera Concert at Battersea Reach
London's leading mixed use developer, St George, are delighted to host an open air opera concert on Thursday 25th June from 7.30 pm – 9.30 pm at their award winning Battersea Reach development in Wandsworth SW18. The concert in association with the Wandsworth Town Centre Partnership will be presented by the National Opera Studio and will feature four classically trained opera singers and a live pianist, who will perform a range of well known and modern pieces that will appeal to a wider audience.
Mark Griffiths, Managing Director of St George South London comments, "We look forward to supporting this excellent initiative which will become an annual event for residents of Battersea Reach and the local community to enjoy. The combination of a stunning riverside location, refreshments and live music will serve to create a unique atmosphere at London's premier riverside destination".
As one of London's leading mixed-use developments, Battersea Reach boasts a variety of shops, bars and restaurants on site including the hugely popular Young's Waterfront bar and restaurant and Cake Boy French Patisserie, both of which will be providing refreshments on the night in the form of an outdoor barbecue with food and drink special offers.
Ian Taitte, Wandsworth Council's Town Centre Manager comments, "We are very excited at the prospect of working in partnership with St George South London to bring this unique event to Battersea Reach. The development has proved hugely popular within the local area, having opened up a previously inaccessible stretch of the river, and integrating itself so well within the existing community. This award winning development has provided a new focal point for the Borough of Wandsworth".
The Battersea Reach development lies adjacent to Wandsworth Bridge in close proximity to some of London's most fashionable destinations including the King's Road, Sloane Square and Knightsbridge.
