How can brands and their agencies tap into social media? From blogs to social networks, May’s BIMA Dialogues will examine how brands can engage with influencers to enhance an online campaign.

Using case studies from Avis, Warner Bros and Sony BRAVIA, this month’s BIMA Dialogues will debate how online PR and social media campaigns can benefit brands: supporting on and offline marketing, whilst developing strong, positive reputation.

Starting with monitoring and measurement, the panel will discuss what you can learn from the blogosphere, how to identify the passion points that ignite conversation, and how to generate buzz by tapping into influencers and advocates. Looking at the best methods for engagement, discussion will include how to inspire debate and the rules of conversation.

Mat Morrison of RMM, will lead the debate, talking to panellists Mark Rogers, Market Sentinel; Dan Light, Picture Production Company; and Katy Howell, immediate future Ltd. The aim is explore how brands can engage with social media and how companies and their agencies can benefit.
