The government of Kenya has declared hunger as a national disaster. 10 million people are starving, many have been displaced from their homes in search of food and many animals have died. If the long rains does not fall by the end of this month, then many families are headed to the worst. The situation has been very fragile, since Kenya in general received very little rain fall for the last 2 years. What is the long term solution to this phenomenon?

Kenya has 1.7% forest cover, which is 8.3% below the UN recommendation. Due to this reason, many rivers and lakes are drying up very quick, resulting to an imaginable misery. Careers for Life International has started an initiative called One Youth One Tree. Our aim is to plant 10 million trees every month. The aim is to engage individual youth to plant one tree a month. Every month, 10 youth will win 800 USD subject to verification of the tree planted. Their registration number will act as their lotto number. Very soon, registration will be available at our website. We are asking for your help to make this possible. www.careers4life.org please tell all your friends.

Thank your.
