Curve Magazine calls Karen Williams "a laugh riot”, and for one night only, she is performing for the Astraea Foundation, the world’s only foundation that solely funds LGBTI organizations and individuals in the U.S. and internationally.

Karen Williams is not only a hilarious comedian, but also an author who is on a comedy tour to promote her book “Healing with Humor – Freedom From Fear”. She has performed in a comedy special on LOGO TV called I Need a Snack, and stars in the movie Laughing Matters, which highlights Karen’s comedy as well as her social activism. Karen Williams is using her celebrity status to raise awareness and to work for social justice using humor and healing!

When not using her humor to raise awareness and work for social justice, Karen writes for places as diverse as the New York variety show "In The Life," and the books "Joke Stew"; Revolutionary Laughter"; "Out in All Directions"; and "Out, Loud & Laughing". Come and laugh with Karen Williams and the Astraea Foundation at Comix.
