One by One 2008: 4th Annual Concert Series October 25, 2008

Toni Gates, professional singer/songwriter and ARC Record Artist, is producing her fourth One by One concert on Saturday, October 25, 2008, at Unity Temple on the Plaza, Kansas City, MO. She will be joined by Sam Beckett (piano); Tom Ransom (guitar); Clarence Smith (drums/percussion); Steve Rigazzi (bass); and Teri Wilder (vocals). Kansas City vocalist and performing artist, Lee Langston, Jr. will be this year’s featured artist. The opening act, an a cappella female trio, Water, will warm things up from 7:00 p.m. to 7:20 p.m., and TGE will begin at 7:30 p.m. The afterparty will be at Figlio's ($2 house wines/beers/wells and 1/2 off appetizers for concertgoers).

Ms. Gates initiated the One by One Concert Series (in 2004) in order to highlight Kansas City’s finest musicians and share their exquisite talents with the entire community. Individuals who attend support the creation of new music and live performances. Sponsorships are available and are 100% tax deductible and a percentage will be donated to Jackson County CASA, an organization dedicated to providing a voice for abused and neglected children in the court system.
