First Thursday Event: Launch of ON Gallery with Departure, featuring artist via video conference

The newest addition to the Everett Station Galleries, ON Gallery will open with “Departure“ featuring illustration and large format videography by Oregon artist Drew Anderson, who will be present through video conference from his new home in Brooklyn, NY.

About Departure
This inaugural show is an exploration of imagination and whimsy created by merging technology and the classic notebook, and may be the last we see of this artist for some time. Anderson’s new series “Buy My Sketchbook” (www.buymysketchbook.com), recently on display in London and Tokyo, will be screened as a large-scale projection. A vast body of Anderson’s physical work will be shown, including intricate ink drawing on both paper and antique cabinet cards, and original block cuts.

Despite his recent move to Brooklyn, NY, the artist will be present
virtually via video conference to answer questions from gallery visitors. Gallery goers are encouraged to interact with the artist in this medium.
