Slam Poetry World Champion Elvis McGonagall - a remarkably funny performer - is to headline the First Birthday gig at Lewes Poetry on Tuesday, 24 February, upstairs at the Lewes Arms.

Lewes Poetry promoter and resident poet Oliver said: "Quite apart from beating the rest of the world at slam poetry, Elvis is a hilarious performer. This is a gig not to be missed.

"Our first year has gone very fast with some great performances. This gig should be something special."
