Viel Spass! Welcome the fall with a weekend of German style family fun at the 2008 Oaks Park Oktoberfest! This family friendly Oktoberfest features:

o Authentic German food and beer
o Live Oom Pah bands and dancers in 2 festhallen
o Sausage eating, pretzel kissing and chicken dance contests hosted by local radio personalities, dog shows, cooking shows, craft and import vendors, Oregon Scooter Club Shine and Show, thrill Rides, and roller skating.

o Kinderplatz Children's Activities- crafts and games with the German Saturday School of Portland, May Pole Dance, Chicken Dance Contest, and "Rocktoberfest" Show with Radio Disney.
o Senior Excitement - free gate admission and a meal discount for 55+ on Friday 9/19 from 3-6 pm. Cooking demonstration, chicken dance contest, live music and more.
