20th & Blake
Denver, Colorado

Grab your stein, throw on your lederhosen and get ready for Denver’s 38th annual Oktoberfest! The event, which is one of the city’s longest running festivals and one of the largest of its kind in the nation, hits an exciting milestone in 2007. Oktoberfest Denver will move from its previous home on Larimer Square to Denver’s Ballpark Neighborhood. The new site, on Larimer Street between 20th and 22nd provides an excellent opportunity for the event to grow. Additions will include more entertainment, new concession option, expanded German-oriented programming and goods, and large Biergartens that were not possible at the Larimer Square venue.

Modeled after Oktoberfest in Munich Germany, Oktoberfest on Larimer Street commemorates this world-famous and time-honored tradition of German heritage. The festival has truly become a Denver mainstay offering German attractions, music from national touring groups, performances by international dancers, children’s activities, heritage booths selling German good, splendid décor, and accordion concert, and authentic cuisine. Admission to the event is FREE and guests may purchase tickets for food, bier and children’s activities.
