Oktoberfest Anniversary Party October 16, 2010

The Royal Oak Farmers Market is set to host the 3rd annual Oktoberfest / Anniversary Event at the market, on Saturday, October 16th, as part of a joint fundraiser for the market, and the Royal Oak Historical Society. Doors will open at 6 pm. Admission is $6.00 with 10 years & under free. Tickets are available now at the market office or at the door. The evening includes dancing and listening to “The Good Times Orchestra”, bidding on valuable goodies at the Silent Auction, a demonstration by an authentic dance team in costume, and other incredible edibles offered by 2 Unique catering. Beer, wine, soda and concessions will be available for purchase during the event.

Staying local is what it’s all about, with one hundred percent of the profits from the locally brewed beer/wine sales going directly to the charity, while proceeds from ticket and concession sales will help the Royal Oak Farmers Market with much needed renovations. “In these tough financial times, it’s great to enjoy a night out while helping other people” quoted one market patron. Whether you polka or not, it’s sure to be a fun and affordable evening for the whole family.
