ODC/Dance is the West Coast’s most acclaimed contemporary dance company, known for their remarkable athleticism, sparkling wit, and intellectually stimulating social commentary. In Artistic Director Brenda Way and Co-Director KT Nelson's inimitable style, they have produced a season of dance that matters on a grand and intimate scale. This year at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts they will explore themes of the cycles of life, the current affairs of state, lifelong love, homeland insecurity, and the metaphor of life portrayed as a house - all in a season comprising three dance programs, eleven terrific dancers, and five world premieres. Accompanying this season of new work will be music by Meredith Monk, Laurie Anderson, the red hot Argentinean composer Osvaldo Golijov, and electronic wizards Brian Eno and David Byrne, to name a few. There are performances every weekend night, Thursday- Saturday, as well as two matinees the last weekend of the run, March 29 and 30th at 2pm. Some of the special programming includes:

Opening Night Gala Performance: March 13 at 7pm. Celebrate two world premieres and the revival of two highly acclaimed pieces with a festive reception with complimentary refreshments immediately following the performance.

Small Plates: March 20 at 5:30pm. Grab a friend and come after work to enjoy complimentary wine and appetizers at 5:30 pm in the YBCA theater lobby before our special one-hour performance.

Verge After-Party: March 21 at 8pm. Dance to the tunes of a live DJ on the YBCA Terrace while enjoying complimentary wine and desserts.

Italian Ice Night: March 28 at 8 pm. Enjoy complimentary Italian Ice during intermission, before and after the show.

Family Matinee: March 29 at 2pm. Bring the whole family with discount tickets between $10-$15.
