OMFG! The Internet Dating Musical, explores the lives of two people who, amid mid-life crises, reinvent themselves on-line and imagine lives together that are otherwise unavailable to either. The two characters meet via an internet chat room, are instantly enthralled with one another, and then realize that if they reveal their true identities they will be destined for failure. Their musical journey takes us to a realm of fantasy and make believe as they conjure up fake realities in an effort to charm the other. This new work by ODC Theater Resident Artist Christopher Winslow combines song, dance and spoken word along with video projections to tell this modern day love story.
