Octo'book'fest Beer Sampling October 23, 2010

Enjoy a sampling of specialty beers and good food at the Octo”book”fest, Lower Providence Community Library’s fall fundraising event on Saturday, October 23 from 7:00-10:00 p.m. held in the library at 50 Parklane Drive Eagleville. The eight select beers to be featured include Warsteiner Oktoberfest brewed in Germany, Victory Festbier and Moonglow brewed locally in Downingtown, Rogue Maierfest Lager and Dead Guy Ale, Anchor Humming Ale, Long Trail Harvest Ale, and Uinta Punk’n, a spicy seasonal brew. A silent auction, 50-50 drawing, and blind taste test competition are all part of the event.

Tickets are $40 per person when purchased in advance, $35 for groups of ten or more, and $45 at the door. Tickets can be purchased in advance in the library or ordered using the ticket order form available on the library’s website at www.lowerprovidencelibrary.org. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Lower Providence Community Library.
