OCTANe Presents: VC 101 & Meet the VC – Draper Fisher Jurvetson Frontier

6:00 pm- 7:30 pm: Meet the VC – Draper Fisher Jurvetson Frontier

OCTANe will conduct a 45 minute presentation for OCTANe Next members to educate the auidence about venture capital and provide the fundamentals of VC funding. We invite non-OCTANe Next members to attend this session as well.

Then beginning at 6 pm, David Cremin from DFJ Frontier will hold a small meeting for entrepreneurs only. David will talk about his firm’s investment criteria, investment strategy, and portfolio companies. David will also explain the value of working with the DFJ Global Network of Funds, which is the most active venture capital group in the world managing over $6B in assets.

David is also interested in meeting privately with entrepreneurs before the event. If you are interested in a private meeting, please send a current executive summary of your company to [email protected].

David Cremin is a founder and Managing Director of DFJ Frontier, a Draper Fisher Jurvetson Global Network Partner focused on seed and early stage technology companies on the west coast. At Frontier, he leads fund management, fundraising and portfolio management efforts. Prior to Frontier, he was a founding partner of Zone Ventures in Los Angeles. As an entrepreneur, he served as founder and CEO of Vis-a-Vis Entertainment, a music publishing and digital media company. He also spent several years touring as a professional musician and recording for RCA Records, Atlantic Records, Elektra Records and EastWest Records. He holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University.
