Oakland Restaurant Week January 18, 2013

Oakland will celebrate its third annual Oakland Restaurant Week January 18-27, 2013, with more than two dozen restaurants offering special prix fixe menus at $20, $30 or $40 for lunch and dinner. Oakland continues to gain recognition as one of the best culinary destinations to visit, known for incorporating fresh ingredients into creative dishes. The city's restaurants also reflect the many different cultures of Oakland, one of the most diverse cities in the country.

The ten day event is an ideal opportunity for visitors and locals to experience Oakland's vibrant culinary scene, which continues to receive rave reviews from media outlets across the globe. Participating restaurants are located throughout the city's popular visitor and residential neighborhoods, such as Grand Lake, Jack London Square, Montclair Village, Old Oakland, Rockridge, and Uptown.
