Oakland Ballet Company Returns October 20, 2007

On October 20, 2007, be a part of the exciting rebirth of a treasured Bay Area institution -- the Oakland Ballet Company.

Two performances at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the historic Paramount Theatre in Oakland with Michael Michael Morgan conducting members of the Oakland East Bay Symphony.

The program will feature: Bolero (Wilde), Afternoon of a Faun (Nijinsky), Trois Gymnopedies (Guidi) and Carnival d'Aix (Guidi).

Ronn Guidi, Founding Artistic Director of the Oakland Ballet, for 35 years, and led the company to international acclaim. He is bringing the company back to life with an exciting inaugural performance on October 20.
