WelcomeFest is a one day festival type event that will feature both national and local acts, an outdoor and indoor stage, great craft beer from New Belgium and great local food. The focus of WelcomeFest is to welcome students, families, community and faculty members alike back or to Carbondale to kick off another great school year and also to bring attention to Carbondale's wonderful downtown area.
