O Brother, Where Art Thou? January 23, 2009

As an introduction to the Peasall Sisters in concert, enjoy a special screening of the blockbuster 2000 movie featuring their singing, O Brother, Where Art Thou? Set in Depression-era Mississippi in 1937, O Brother is a loose retelling f Homer's Greek classic, The Odyssey. Historian Michael Scoggins will briefly comment on the historical mythological and musical themes in the movie.
