NYC BiChoice: First Saturdays @ the Brooklyn Museum February 2, 2008

Details: Discover Love in the Lunar New Year at the Brooklyn Museum's Target First Saturdays.

Enjoy free art and entertainment each month from 5-11 p.m. All evening long, the Museum Café serves a wide selection of sandwiches, salads, and beverages, and a cash bar offers wine and beer. Parking is a flat rate of $4 starting at 5 p.m. All other Saturdays, the Museum closes at 6 p.m.

6:30 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. Hands-On Art
Education Division, 1st Floor
Participants are invited to carve their own Chinese chop, a personal stamp of a name or symbol. Free timed tickets (380) are available at the Visitor Center at 5:30 p.m.

9:00 p.m.- 10:30 p.m. Karaoke
Hall of the Americas, 1st Floor
Visitors are invited to sing their hearts out in an unprecedented karaoke session.

9:00 p.m.- 11:00 p.m. Dance Party
Martha A. and Robert S. Rubin Pavilion, 1st Floor
Salsa the night away with the famous DJ Henry Knowles. Dance lesson begins an hour before.
