For stony limits cannot hold love out, And what love can do that dares love attempt.

William Shakespeare

As the centerpiece of our 2007 Spring Season, New York City Ballet presents the World Premiere of an all-new production inspired by Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Created by NYCB Ballet Master in Chief Peter Martins, this lavish full-length staging will bring together dancers, students and faculty from NYCB and the School of American Ballet. Set to Prokofiev's glorious score, with stunning abstract set designs by acclaimed Danish painter Per Kirkeby, this contemporary look at a timeless classic will combine music, dance, and the visual arts as only NYCB can.

Tickets start at just $15
