Notorious Criminals Display April 11, 2009

This exhibit features Willie Sutton's lock picks found in his jail cell and the machine gun used by Al Capone's gang to assassinate Frankie Yale. This was the first time a machine gun was used to commit a homicide in New York City. The exhibit also features photographs and descriptions of some of New York's notorious criminals.
