North Riverside, IL – The North Riverside Mall Theatre is excited to welcome the Senior Citizens’ Center of Oak Park and River Forest for their month long art display in August. The senior center’s Lifelong Learning Center art class will be exhibiting in the lobby of the North Riverside Mall Theatre, at 7501 West Cermak Road.

The art class consists of men and women between the ages of 50 and 105 who paint regularly every Friday. Nancy Fong is the teacher of the art class and says, “Everyone in my class paints for the fun of it and for the camaraderie.” She adds, “Many of the participants have been coming to the Lifelong Learning Center for several years and they continue to exceed my expectations with their talent and passion for art.” The center offers an array of classes and workshops from ceramics, weaving, wood shop and quilting to needlecraft, lapidary and creative writing.
