Panel discussion presented in partnership with NYU's Wagner School of Public Service, “Nonviolence and Social Change in the 21st Century.” Panelists will include Mark Kurlansky, New York Times bestselling author of "Salt: A World History" and "Nonviolence: 25 Lessons from a History of Dangerous Idea," Matt Meyer, former national chair of War Resisters League, author of Guns and Gandhi in Africa, Kurt Schock, Associate Professor of Global Affairs/Sociology at Rutgers University and author of "Unarmed Insurrections: People Power Movements in Nondemocracies." The Moderator will be John Gershman, Director of International Programs and Clinical Assistant Professor of Public Administration, NYU Wagner School.
